21 Feb Final exam – Master pizzaiolo
On 18/01/2020, the restaurant Coccolo in Trogir was the location of the final exam and conferral of certificates to the first generation of students in master pizzaiolo training program.
As part of the theoretical classes, students attended lectures on knowledge of food, kitchen space and equipment, basic hygiene, English in the profession and occupational safety. After 80 hours of practical training and fulfilling conditions for the final exam, the students took a test on the theoretical and professional content in accordance with the planned learning outcomes and a test of practical skills in the working conditions of pizza makers.
The quality of the dough, the degree of baking, and of course the work of the students who demonstrated their skills and knowledge in pizza preparation in general, were crucial for successfully passing the practical exam. All trainees successfully completed the program and were offered employment on cruise ships as part of our seafarers manning agency.
