PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

According to the analytical indicator of the age structure of the population, and thus of the demographic aging process, the aging index, which is expressed through the change of ratio between the old and the young population, the age of some population can be determined. If this index is bigger than 40, it is about the older population. Taking into account the specific needs of its users, the Ministry of Labor and Pension System and the Croatian Employment Service carry out a series of active employment policy measures with a view of encouraging employment, additional worker education and job protecting. Education of unemployed is a measure within which unemployed persons are included in vocational training, retraining and training programs in educational establishments in order to be trained for occupations currently being sought in the labor market.

The program has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, which has been prepared according to the recommendations of the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency(EACEA).

Upon completion of the program, the trainee is issued a certificate of training, a public document prescribed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, with registration in the e-work booklet.
