About us

Lifelong learning center Bozic is the first international maritime school in the Republic of Croatia. Since we are a Center for lifelong learning, our core activity is education, i.e. secondary education, vocational retraining, qualification improvement and training of adult attendants for different professions. The school possesses all relevant work permits by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.

Attendants’ needs to formalize the skills and knowledge for which they have previous practical experience; the introduction of new lifting machines, devices and equipment for the mechanical lifting, shifting and loading / unloading in factory halls, assembly workshops and open and closed-type warehouses; compliance with the needs of the labor market; employment opportunities in the field of mechanical engineering, construction, shipbuilding, on the EU labor market.

The program has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, which has been prepared according to the recommendations of the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency(EACEA).

In the training program for Overhead crane operator can enroll a person who has: completed elementary school, turned 18, has a medical certificate of the ability to perform this job.
