21 Jun Participation in the ESF project “Development of quality assurance systems in adult education”
POU Božić in cooperation with the Agency for Vocational and Adult Education participates in the activities of piloting the model of self-evaluation and external evaluation of adult education institutions, which is implemented within the ESIF project “Development of quality assurance systems in adult education”.
The aim of the activity is to test the quality assurance model and framework for the implementation of the self-evaluation and external evaluation process, designed in cooperation with external experts, in cooperation with adult education institutions, in order to improve and further implement it in the adult education system.
The activity of piloting the self-evaluation and external evaluation model includes several phases, preparation for implementation, implementation and monitoring of self-evaluation, participation in external evaluation and monitoring and the final phase, all these phases will be implemented in cooperation with piloting institutions and the Agency.
The Agency has recognized the potential of the Božić Academy, as one of the drivers of the development of a quality assurance system for lifelong learning in the Split-Dalmatia County. Namely, for many years now, the Božić Academy has had quality assurance certificates from reputable world-renowned certification companies such as DNV-GL and SIQ for the provision of services in the education of seafarers and other professions. In addition to the above, POU Božić is an active member of the Croatian Employer’s Association and Croatian Chamber of Commerce community of colleges, the Association of Adult Education Institutions, TOLES and MARLINS accreditation examination center, and recently is proud of the holder of the quality mark “Izvorno Hrvatsko” or “Originally Croatian”.
