PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

The florist- flower arranger training program will provide trainees with the opportunity to formalize their knowledge and skills if they are already working this job and thus increase their competitiveness in the labor market. Also, with this type of training, employers will get a professional person to do the job of flower arrangement, and it will enable unemployed persons as well  to find employment in the aforementioned job.

The program has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, which has been prepared according to the recommendations of the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency(EACEA).
Upon completion of the program, the trainee is issued a certificate of training, a public document prescribed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, with registration in the e-work booklet.

Competencies acquired by students:

1.Differentiate between types of flowers and greenery for arrangement

2.Use appropriate procedures in the cultivation, propagation and care of flowers

3.Use appropriate materials, tools and supplies for florists in a professional and safe manner

4.Make flower arrangements and decorations for different purposes

5.Participate in interior design with floral decorations or arrangements

6.Communicate with customers and suppliers appropriately

7.Apply safety at work, fire prevention and first aid rules.
