About us

Lifelong learning center Bozic is the first international maritime school in the Republic of Croatia. Since we are a Center for lifelong learning, our core activity is education, i.e. secondary education, vocational retraining, qualification improvement and training of adult attendants for different professions. The school possesses all relevant work permits by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.

Attendants will be able to work autonomously and successfully in the kitchen and restaurant work organization, care for the technological process, technical and technological equipment and inventory, prepare and serve food and drink, plan supplies, purchase and take over reproduction material, and control storage and preservation of groceries, arrange daily meals, arrange and organize parties, banquets, festive lunches and dinners inside and outside the building, create presentations of national dishes and drinks and their promotions, take care of restaurant presentations and promotions, economy of work, aesthetic appearance of dishes and space, control work and financial condition of the kitchen and restaurant business, craftsmanship of other catering facilities, find solutions for specific job requirements, permanently specialize and keep track of all the information necessary to successfully perform these tasks.

Education is conducted through multimedial, consultative-instructional manner of tuition.
Educate while working with recognition of previously acquired certificates.

Conditions for enrollment in secondary school program :

– completed primary school; aged 15

-medical certificate of ability to perform duties of tourism and hotel commercialist

Conditions  for enrollment in retraining program:

-aged 17

-completed secondary school

– -medical certificate of ability to perform duties of tourism and hotel commercialist
