Ship electrical power – 80 hours

Ship automation – 60 hours

Marine engineering – 50 hours

Requirements for obtaining a certificate for STCW III / 6:

• At least 18 years old
• Completed minimum three-years electrical engineering school with a minimum of 36 months of navigation service as an officer of electrical engineering or ship electrician in the engine room of the ship with a propulsion power of 750 kW or stronger OR
• Completed four- year Electrical engineering school OR
• Completed Undergraduate University Study of Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6 months of navigation service in the capacity of electrical engineer, ship’s electrician or auxiliary electrician in the engine room of the ship with a propulsion power of 750 kW or more
• Medical health certificate

• D12 – Fire fighting management
• D17 – Handling of a lifeboat and rescue boat except fast rescue boats
• D19 – Provision of medical assistance
• D47A – Management, management of crew and improvement of team work on board –

working level

• D48 – Prevention of pollution of the marine environment
• ETR – Ship Electrician STCW III / 7
• Passed Exam for Electrical Engineer
